“Orange Straw”
You look at this orange straw and wonder what importance does it serve
But what you fell to see is my life
The color that makes me smile from ear to ear
The curves, which signify my God given shape
The swirls, which represent my emotional side
No you don’t see nor feel
All you see is an old lanky, weird look in my straw with no importance
But with this straw years came my wisdom
With this straw weird looks came my spunk and attitude
But lanky, Ah! What a funny word, only with this characteristic
does it show my lack of being taken serious
Yes, you see this orange straw and ask yourself why?
Well, I’m here to tell you why
It doesn’t matter what shape, form or any order I come in as long as it’s with
respect I give it; so I shall and will demand to receive it
Looks only count for what you see but remember it makes the quickest fool out
of anyone.
Take yourself for an example*
